We are excited to welcome Jean-Michel David to Innerbloom Yoga for two special meditation classes!
Jean-Michel is a highly respected meditation teacher, a professional member of the Meditation Association of Australia (MAA), and a former manager at Mindful Meditation Australia (MMA). With extensive experience in yoga, paneurhythmy, and meditation, he has presented research and meditation practices to medical professionals and international audiences, exploring the deep connection between meditation, neuroscience, and personal growth.
Yin Yoga & Yoni Steam Workshop
3pm-5pm, Saturday, 8 February

We’re excited to partner with Yoni Steam Australia to bring you a unique and transformative Yin Yoga & Yoni Steam Workshop. 🌸
This workshop will start with a one-hour Yin Yoga class focusing on the root chakra, and move on to learn about the ancient practice of Yoni Steaming, cultivating self-care and self-love.
✨ What is Yoni Steaming?
Yoni Steaming is a gentle and natural self-care ritual that involves sitting over a warm herbal steam. This ancient practice, rooted in traditional medicine from many cultures around the world, is believed to support women’s health by:
- Promoting circulation and soothing the pelvic area.
- Aiding in relaxation and emotional release.
- Enhancing connection to your feminine energy and intuition.

Diverse Classes
We offer a diverse range of yoga classes to suit different preferences and levels. From invigorating Vinyasa flows to gentle Yin and restorative practices, you'll find a class that aligns with your needs and intentions. With small class sizes, you'll enjoy an intimate and supportive environment, allowing for a more personalized experience.

Vinyasa Yoga:
Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic and flowing style that synchronizes movement with breath. It is often referred to as "flow" yoga. In Vinyasa classes, practitioners transition smoothly from one pose to another, creating a continuous and fluid sequence. It can be physically challenging, as it builds strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. Vinyasa classes may vary in intensity and speed, making it suitable for practitioners of different levels.
Beginner Yoga:
Beginner yoga is a type of yoga practice specifically designed for individuals who are new to yoga or have limited experience with it. It serves as an introductory level for those who may be unfamiliar with yoga postures, breathing techniques, and the overall philosophy of yoga. The classes primarily focus on basic yoga poses or asanas, with an experienced instructor explaining proper alignment and body awareness to prevent injuries and ensure that participants understand the fundamentals.
Yin Yoga:
Yin yoga is a gentle and passive style that focuses on long-held poses to target the deep connective tissues of the body. In Yin classes, practitioners hold seated or reclining poses for an extended period, typically 3 to 5 minutes or more. This slow-paced practice helps improve flexibility, release tension, and cultivate mindfulness. It is a great complement to more active and yang styles of yoga.
Restorative Yoga:
Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing and supportive practice that promotes rest and rejuvenation. In Restorative classes, practitioners use props like blankets, bolsters, and pillows to fully support the body in restful poses. The emphasis is on gentle stretching, deep relaxation, and breath awareness. It is especially beneficial for stress reduction, improving sleep quality, and nurturing the nervous system.
